Points – The 10k is a points
race in the Subaru of Hamilton Niagara Running Series
Directions: 85 kilometers
from Toronto, 25 k from Hamilton and Burlington ,60 kilometers from Guelph, 55
kilometers from Niagara Falls and 50 miles from Buffalo.
Parking: There is parking at the Peach
King Centre – When this lot is full there is parking at Blessed Trinity Secondary
School 300 meters East of the Peach King Centre. If
you Park on side streets please avoid
Subaru
Preferred Parking: Subaru Drivers will have the opportunity to park in
preferred parking spots at the race.
Bring
memorabilia from Peach Buds past- Awards and prizes for the oldest memorabilia
Finish
Photo- will be at the
start and finish lines taking pictures. When you purchase your souvenir race

and 10k routes will go through down town
Teddy’s Food Fun and Spirits
Teddy is a long time
sponsor of the Tim Hortons Peachbud 10k and is having the patio extended for
race night. Teddy is excited about the races coming by the restaurant and is
inviting spectators to watch from there. There will be a BBQ and a Coors light
tall boys will be on ice. Runners are invited to come back after the run. Teddy

Food at the race: There will be plenty of food for the runners after the race including Bagels from Dempsters, drinks, fruit, yogurt
and cookies from Tim Hortons.
Dempsters finish line spectator food and
beverage: Demspters will
have a BBQ at the finish line
area. Spectators and runners can purchase hot dogs and beverage. $2 for hot
dogs. All proceeds will be donated to the West Lincoln Memorial hospital
Foundation.

Finish
Line: Due to construction at the Town Hall the
finish line for this year’s race will be on the soccer field adjacent to the
normal finish line. The course has been re measured and certified.
Finisher
medals: for all 10k finishers – see the medals on the web site
Medical: Provided by
Keeping cool – The Grimsby Fire Fighters Association will
have a fire truck at half way in the 10k and 2k in the 5k that will provide a
refreshing cool down spray for those who wish.
There is also a Splash pad at the finish line
Guest
race starter: The original Race Director Bob Krouse will fire the
starting horn for the races. Bob was the race director of the race from 1981 to
1989. Thanks Bob for starting this race
as well as the original in 1981.

Announcer: Subaru of
Hamilton Running Series race announcer Brian Hutchings will be at the start and
finish line giving you all the race details and announcing your name as you
cross the finish line.

will not be an awards ceremony for the 5k- awards will be distributed at an awards table
near the finish line after the completion of race.

Charity
challenge- You Raised $20,006.34 in 2009 The Peachbud 10k will be raising funds for the West Lincoln
Memorial Hospital Foundation, which is supporting the new hospital
building initiative and its drive to raise money to purchase the necessary
state of the art equipment. Our goal is to get every runner in this
year’s Peachbud to collect pledges to raise money for our new hospital
equipment or to make a donation. For more information, check out:
Subaru of
The Subaru of Hamilton Charity Chase will feature eleven time ironman
champion Lisa Bentley. Lisa will start the race last, seeking sponsorship for
every runner that she passes along the route. Subaru of Hamilton is starting
things off by pledging $1 for every runner that Lisa passes in hopes that
