The deadline for a tech shirt at the Casablanca Classic 8k and 3k is entered by and including October 30th. They will come in men's and ladies sizing.

Beamsville Bench price reduction and refund
We know that the loss of the wine tasting at the Beamsville Bench is disappointing to many including us. We will still have a great race, fantastic music and awesome BBQ. We have decided to lower the registration cost of the race from $40 to $35 as of today .
Those who have already entered at $40 will be issued a $5 bill when they come to registration.
The Tee shirt cut off for pre registered runners is registered by Sunday July 31st.

We have a very special day lined up for everyone in the Subaru of Hamilton Niagara Running Series on Saturday Aug 27th. Subaru of Hamilton presents “Athlete Appreciation Day” from 10 a.m. til 2 p.m. The day is open for all athletes to come and enjoy the festivities. We will have our series vendors as well as entertainment, food and beverages for everyone to enjoy.

Beamsville Bench Important Notice
Notice - Due to the change in ownership the property is under renovations. EastDell Estates has been sold to Mike Weir Wines and the facility is not yet open to the public. We have been granted access to the property to hold the race and have a BBQ but wine tasting will not be available at this time. Be prepared for bigger and better in 2012.

Live Music at the Peachbud
We have lots of music to add to the festivities at the Peachbud this year. Superheroes will be located downtown and play some original and classic rock tunes at 1.8k and 5k. The Ack Band will be at 6 k and Big Ben at 7k. The Todd Pyper band will be playing at the start finish.

In Stride Productions donates to charity chase
In Stride productions is pledging $1 for every Runner that Dr. Glenn Pierce passes on the Tim Hortons Peachbud 10k route. We are challenging other businesses to match or top our pledge.

Charity Chase is happening again
Dr. Glenn Pierce will be starting the Tim Hortons Peachbud 10k last on Tuesday June 28th and seeking pledges for every runner that he passes along the route for the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation. You can pledge towards the charity chase by calling the foundation office at 905-945-9564

Cruise to Run low deposit
Runners who have not booked as of yet and are wishing to go on Cruise to Run can take advantage of a Low Deposit. Book your run package online and you will be able to hold your cabin until final payment for $100 per person. Low deposit is in effect from June 6th to the 20th.

We have expanded the Twenty Valley Challenge.
Twenty Valley Challenge: Must be entered by June 11th to be eligible for a medal
• Finish the following races and receive commemorative medals to recognize your accomplishment .
• 10k and Half- Gold Twenty Valley challenge medal, 10k finishers medal and Half finishers Medal
• 5k and Half – Silver Twenty Valley challenge medal and Half finishers Medal
• 10k and 3k – Bronze Twenty Valley Challenge Medal

Twenty Valley Run, Wine and Dine routes
The routes for the Twenty Vallley , Run, Wine and Dine weekend were all measured and certified by Bernie Conway chief certifier for athletics Canada on May 10th.

New Route for the Tim Hortons Peachbud
Due to construction there will be a new route for the Tim Hortons Peachbud 10k this year.The construction is on the Christie street overpass. The change is in the first 4 kilometers of the race. From 4k to the finish remains the same. The Construction does not affet the 5k or 1k races.
The route will now take the runners through Grimsby's downtown core 2 times.

Lucy Njeri sets new course record at Confederation Park 5k
Lucy Njeri shattered Josianne Aboungono's course record Saturday in perect running conditions. Lucy ran 16:57 and seemed to be jogging as she crossed the finish line breaking the old mark set in 2007 of 17:35 by 38 seconds.
Josephat Ongeri won the Men's race in 14:37

Attendance record falls at Confederation Park 5k
A record 347 runners have registered for the Confederation Park 5k. This surpasses last year's record 345 with 3 days of registration yet to go as well as race day.

An amazing 85 out of 413 runners broke 20 minutes at the Jordan 5k.

Pre Registration for Jordan 5k closes April 7th at midnight
Registration will close at midnight on April 7th for the Jordan 5k and 1k . There will be race day registration at the Jordan Arena. Race day registration prices are $45 for the 5k and $15 for the 1k.

Jordan 5k to be the largest ever
As of Monday we have surpassed last year's record pre entered number with three days to go. The Jordan 5k will be the largest in it's 12 year history.

Pick up your race kit between 4p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and stay for the fun.
Pasta Diner 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Comedy 8 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
Featured performer Mark Matthews.
Mark has performed across Canada and the U.S.A. and has opened for Jerry Seinfeld, Gilbert Gottfried , and Jimmy “JJ” Walker to name a few. Mark was the guest Emcee at the opening of Planet Hollywood appearing with Bruce Willis.
